We have multiple examples of Ace declaring his love of cherry pie, but he has maybe never provided an explanation for why.
In a vignette he goes to the school store in search of cherry-flavored mints.
When asked what his favorite food is in the main story Ace responds, “Probably cherry pie. Or hamburgers.”
