(This is actually the second time Cater has said this line in the anime, changed to, “Did you see that? They’re not familiar with our game,“ in episode 1 of the EN-dub anime.)
In the original anime Ace and Deuce introduce themselves as “Deuce Spade” and “Ace Trappola,” changed in the English-language dubbed anime to “Uh, he’s Ace Trappola” and “He’s Deuce Spade,” as though they are introducing each other instead of themselves, unchanged in the English-language subbed anime.
Cater’s nicknames are largely not being carried over into the English-language anime, with “Yuu-chan” being written as “Yuuken,” “Ace-chan” as “Ace” and “Riddle-kun” as “Riddle,” with only “Deuce-chan” being changed to “Deucey” in the English-language dub and sub, possibly because of Deuce’s follow-up line where he asks Cater not to use “-chan” with his name.
