Sebek’s Fashion

Summary:
・Possibly prioritizes maneuverability
・Puts effort into personal grooming so as not to reflect poorly on Malleus
・Spends “a good while” getting his hair right in the morning

Sebek’s rainwear for Vargas Camp is possibly something he already owned or bought for himself for the event, and maybe an example of his preference in outdoor wear.

He tells Leona, “If you’re at all serious about camping, you’d be better served by protective gear like mine. My rainwear is durable, waterproof, breathable, AND personally endorsed by Lilia himself,” and says, “My patches are symbols from Briar Valley. Lilia gave them to me, so I made sure to apply them all!”

Sebek says that he is unfamiliar with his New Year’s outfit and does not typically wear clothes like his Harveston outfit, “but it’s not bad at all.”

He describes his Glorious Masquerade clothes as “both practical and stately” but also “a curious ensemble.”

Sebek does not seem fond of his Nightmare Suit, saying, “I can’t believe I’m stuck in a patchwork suit…under normal circumstances, l’d have disposed of it long ago,” and, “I don’t like this fraying one bit.”

He says that he concerned about the maneuverability of his New Year’s outfit but he can “stand at Malleus’s side in this without shame,” so perhaps freedom of movement is something he prioritizes when selecting his own clothes?

Sebek seems to care very much about his appearance because of Malleus, saying that his goal is “to be worthy enough to be Malleus’s attendant! And an attendant must be perfect in all ways! To appear before the one they serve in a slovenly state is OUT OF THE QUESTION!”

Sebek says he makes “extra effort” with his hair as “it is quite conspicuous when unkempt,” using styling products “to tame it and ensure it is always perfect!”

Sebek says that this attention to personal grooming also “applies even when Malleus is not present,” as there is no telling when he may appear, and “if people started saying (he) was an unkempt individual, the public’s estimation of Malleus would go down!”

Sebek says that his hair “takes a good while to get right in the morning,” and during New Years he accepts advice from Vil to use a specific brand of hair wax to keep his hair in place, which seems effective.
