Idia comments on how often Silver compliments those around him, which we have seen happen many times: he compliments all members of the White Rabbit Fes group on their outfits, compliments Dylla’s cooking, the prefect when they try on a pair of glasses, and he flatters a craftfairy during Fairy Gala to the point that they are convinced to craft four valuable translators for him.
Jade interprets Silver’s flattery as a form of manipulation but Silver says he had only been speaking the truth: “The best way to reach mutual understanding is to treat others with sincerity.”
He also thanks Ortho for the spectacle he puts on during the show, and similarly compliments Idia for singing “incredibly well” during the Glorious Masquerade event.
When Jamil expresses an interest in studying the cultures of different lands to keep from unintentionally offending people (and to not be taken advantage of), Silver praises him for being so considerate and dedicated. He also assures Jamil that the deep red of his birthday bouquet suits him.
When presented with a tsum version of Lilia, Silver says, “it is undeniably adorable,” and he compliments his own tsum on a picture that it takes on his phone.
Silver is often apologizing.
His insistence on apologizing for wrongdoing is possibly what saved the group during Fairy Gala IF: when their deception is revealed Silver explains the situation in detail to the Fairy Queen, apologizing repeatedly and insisting on taking full responsibility and the punishment alone, despite how he had been the only one of the group who spoke up against lying to the faeries at the start.
Silver is also often saying “thank you” and expressing appreciation in general.
