Floyd receives an outfit from White Rabbit Fes from Deuce, but it is a little unclear if Deuce gave it to him voluntarily: Floyd says that he took it for himself after hearing that Deuce had too many of the clothes on hand.
Deuce and Floyd overlap in a vignette where Floyd (“in a fouler mood than usual”) decides to take a break on a bench near to where Ace and Deuce are practicing color-changing magic.
Floyd does not appreciate Deuce’s insinuation that he won’t be able to evade their “lame attempts at magic,” but Deuce ultimately does hit him with a spell, turning his labwear into “practically a kaleidoscope.”
Deuce apologizes and offers to make it up to him but Floyd’s mood seems to improve, and he offers to give them both advice.
Deuce is Floyd’s interview for his second birthday, gifting him with a “Blastcycle Passenger Ride Ticket.” Deuce explains, “Ace told me you like to have fun. I thought about what was most fun to me, and I settled on offering you a blastcycle ride as a gift.”
Floyd points out that the ticket counts as a contract, and Deuce has failed to specify how many times it can be redeemed or any schedule limitations, while it is addressed to “Leech-senpai” which applies to both him and Jade, which means Jade should be able to redeem it as well.
Taking responsibility for the mistake Deuce says that he will take Floyd on two or three rides if he wants: “After all, if this gets you into blastcycles, that’d make me happy.”
