EN Server Changes: Fairy Gala

Original Crowley: !!!!????

EN Crowley: SWEET MERCIFUL SEVEN!

This change was later referenced on EN in Book 7, chapter 1.

Original Leona: Let me be clear: I hate things like capricious parties and festivals.

EN Leona: Let me be clear: I HATE schmoozing. Galas? Gag. Balls? Barf. Et cetera.

Original Vil: Your title of ‘prince’ is appalling. Are you sure it’s not actually ‘egg?’

EN Vil: Some prince you are. Are you sure you’re not just the royal jester? Actually, no–saying that does a disservice to jesters everywhere.

(Vil is making a kanji-based joke (one way to write “egg” (玉子) looks visually very similar to the kanji for “prince” (王子)), complimenting Leona’s appearance while insulting everything else about him.)

Several insults were added for the English-speaking audience, including this line from Fairy Gala where Leona calls the fairies “stupid.”

One of Kalim’s character points is he has an affinity for animals, but “rare animals” was removed from his EN dialogue.

“We’re not here to sip bubbly and discuss the weather!…Er, actually, we kind of are, but no matter,” was added to Jamil’s dialogue on EN.

Ruggie, Jamil and Leona’s original line was just a very strong refusal, similar to “now way,” “not a chance,” “never,” etc.

It was changed to “We’d rather sasay away, thanks!” on EN.
