Okamoto Nobuhiko enrolled in Pro Fit Voice Actor Training Institute while working part-time jobs at McDonald’s, 7-11, the post office and as a security guard in order to pay his tuition. ( Interview Source )
He won a voice-acting award for Best Newcomer in 2009, the same year he graduated from university. He would go on to win a best supporting actor award in 2011. ( Source 1 | Source 2 )
He made his singer debut in 2012 with mini-album “Palette.”
At the end of 2021 the Pro Fit agency announced that they would be discontinuing operations for a time. In order to help the voice actors who were being dropped, Okamoto established his own agency and was able to successfully transfer over the contracts of nearly all of Pro Fit’s actors in February 2022. Okamoto is adept at board games. As a child he wished to become a professional shogi player and received training from professionals. ( Source )
Okamoto is a member of the Seiyou Tube Channel on YouTube, and there is a video where he introduces Twisted Wonderland to new players and explains the battle system, lesson system, etc., sometimes in Floyd’s voice.
