Grim is big on food, ignoring Ace during Halloween in favor of a buffet, commenting about eating the ammunition in Beanfest and on eating fruit from the botanical gardens, and eating constantly throughout the Firelit Sky event.
When Jamil’s shawarma disappears, Cater guesses Grim is the culprit, and no one but Grim himself disputes it (“Why take ONE wrap when I could swipe a whole spit of meat from the stall?”)
Grim announces a goal of eating his weight in snacks during Glorious Masquerade, saying, “if it ain’t food, I ain’t interested.”
Prior to the Halloween party at NRC he tells the prefect to “bring all the dishes we got in Ramshackle Dorm! We gotta take home all the food we can carry,” and during the party he says he will eat plenty for both himself and Ortho.
Grim also chooses to willingly go into the Spectral Realm upon the promise of food.
Grim steals part of Epel’s lunch as repayment for allowing Epel to sit next to him in the cafeteria and is often demanding apples to eat throughout the Harveston event. Grim’s wish at the well in the village is, “to eat so much good food I nearly burst.”
Grim also eats his way through the food stalls during Port Fest, and announces in Book 1 that he will be eating until his stomach explodes. (Deuce: “Enjoying Trey’s homemade treats his supposed to be the exclusive privilege of Heartslabyul students! But you show up every time we hold an unbirthday party and start gobbling all the food…”)
Grim also eats more than his share during Vargas Camp.
