Twst VA Interview: Jack’s VA Ban Taito

What do you like about your dorm and its members?
“Savanaclaw Dorm is a group of people together in the same space, but they’re not really a ‘pack.’ But when all is said and done, their teamwork might be the best at Night Raven College. Leona has a laid-back air and seems relaxed, but he actually keeps a good eye on his underclassmen. Just hearing him say, ‘Not bad,’ in acknowledgment is enough to make you happy. He’s a dorm leader you want to follow.

Ruggie is another kind of upperclassman altogether compared to Leona, and feels much closer. He can be calculating, but at his core he’s kind and takes good care of others.

From Jack’s single-minded perspective Ruggie might be a type he’s not great with, but I think Jack’s respect for him has been there from the very beginning and hasn’t changed.”

In August 2026, the official Twisted Wonderland Twitter account published the following comments from Ban on the character song/dorm song soundtrack and karaoke box implementation (source):

>> Memories from Recording

During the recording I suggested singing in a key one octave lower than the guide vocals I had been given, as that would be easier for the character to sing, and I remember my suggestion being adopted. As a result, I feel that the song gained more depth and power and truly feels like it is being sung by the character.

>> What should fans pay attention to in the songs you participated in?

I really, really tried my hardest in the recording for “What’s This?” I have never really had the opportunity to sing such a difficult song before, and I feel that I probably won’t ever again. I think listeners are able to experience a Jack who is in much higher spirits than usual, a side of him that we don’t often get to see. By all means, please challenge yourself by singing it out loud! (laughs)

>> Which song would you like to sing at karaoke?

I feel that “ggwp,” with its vibe and tempo, would be really fun to sing along with.

>> A message for the fans, please.

There are dorm songs that perfectly capture the image of each dorm, solo songs packed with the best qualities of each character, and “those” famous Halloween songs that can’t be heard now that the events have ended, sung by Twst’s characters. It really is an album bursting with so much, so I hope you will listen to it and enjoy it again and again!
