Jack’s favorite food is listed as pear compote, and while this was mentioned during Port Fest we have possibly never been provided an explanation as to why.
Jack says, “Some of my best childhood memories are of eating waffles with pear compote on a day off. The sweetness of the waffles went so well with the tartness of the pears…oh man, they were the best!,” but it is a little unclear if he likes pear compote because of childhood memories of eating it with waffles, or if he has always liked it and thus would use it as a waffle topping.
He also says that his sibling would make it for him on his birthday, but it is not specified if they made it because it was already his favorite or if it is his favorite because they would make it for him.
