Lilia says that music is enjoyed as a part of daily life in Leona’s country (“I remember from the last time I visited Sunset Savanna how people would play music outside, and sing and dance”), and Leona is possibly more musically inclined than he is willing to admit: he tells the musicians of Halloweentown, “I can’t fathom why you play everything in minor keys. And your chords are so discordant, they’re unbearable to listen to…you should at least have the sax switch up its scale. The way you’re playing now makes everything sound like a funeral dirge.”
Jade observes, “It seems Leona’s lost patience and started coaching them. Perhaps he’s actually quite particular when it comes to music.” Azul follows with, “He’s a good singer, and he doesn’t seem to hate it. This was a surprising side of him to see.”
Leona offers to sing for Ace during the Spectral Soiree event but they are interrupted.
