Leona’s VA Umehara Yuuichirou’s first lead role in a major series was as Hazama Kuroo in 2015’s “Young Black Jack.”

He is also a songwriter, singer and guitarist in rock band “Sir Vanity.”
In this interview about voicing Leona from the Twisted Wonderland Official Fanbook (vol.1), Umehara talks about portraying Leona’s “evasiveness” and playing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” at a piano recital in the fifth grade.
He also discusses Leona’s attitude being a defensive mechanism he uses to get through life in an interview with Da Vinci magazine.
