Lilia’s Tsum presents a conundrum for Sebek, as he struggles to balance scolding the tsum for troubling Lilia while also needing to speak to it respectfully for being so similar to Lila himself. (Silver: “I think he’s confused how to treat a tsum with your face.”)
Sebek is displeased by Silver commenting that Lilia might stir up trouble on campus but follows with, “Not…that I can say for certain that he WOULDN’T…” The two decide to team up and follow after Lilia and his tsum-self.
They soon discover that Lilia and his tsum are becoming infamous on campus for their constant pranks and Sebek is delighted: “It sounds like Lilia and the tsum are the talk of the campus. How splendid!”
When Lilia justifies his late-night gaming binges with “I’m retired from the field. I hardly need to stay in peak condition all the time. Besides you two will be there regardless” Sebek insists, “No, your presence is still very much needed! You remain a role model for us! A shining example we strive to emulate!”
Sebek is shocked by the revelation in Book 7 that Lilia will be dropping out of the school, reiterating that his presence is essential.
