Sebek’s VA Ishiya Haruki was a track-and-field athlete who had to give up his athletic ambitions after becoming injured during a competition. In a 2017 interview he explains that he watched a lot of Crayon Shin-chan while recuperating in the hospital and, impressed by the performances, he decided to become a voice actor.
Ishiya says he would work as many as three part-time jobs simultaneously—mostly in restaurants—to support himself while attending university in Tokyo, sometimes visiting riversides to look for edible plants such as wild leeks, clovers and dandelions to eat. ( Interview Source )

I have the impression that all of Twisted Wonderland‘s songs are quite challenging, so I spend the entire recording session experimenting and refining my performance for each one.
The staff pay close attention to every little detail, so each time I really get to experience firsthand just how difficult, nuanced, and enjoyable these songs are to sing. The English parts were especially difficult.>> What should fans pay attention to in the songs you participated in?
Since I’m singing as Sebek Zigvolt’s voice actor, I first focus on singing boldly and making sure I’m firmly in sync with the music.
I also think carefully about which parts Sebek would express most powerfully. There’s meaning behind those choices, so I’d be happy if listeners also paid close attention to the lyrics of each song.>> Which song would you like to sing at karaoke?
The dorm song. I really love its atmosphere, so I think it’d be wonderful if several people could sing it together. I’d want to decide who gets to sing the chorus with a game of rock-paper-scissors. I’d love to really get into character while singing it.>> A message for the fans, please.
