Silver becomes enraged at the silver owls who are hunting down Lilia and the egg he carries, arriving just in time to save Lilia from being executed in a scene where he uses the “kisama” form of you for possible the first (and only) time in the entire game (more here).
Silver defeats the entire group of silver owls who had been fighting to kill Lilia and Lilia tries to get Silver to deliver Malleus to safety instead, saying that he will lie to the silver owls about disposing of the egg in a ravine in order to buy time for Silver to escape (knowing that they will kill him regardless).
Silver ignores this request, instead hoisting Lilia onto his back. Grim comments on Silver’s impressive stamina, carrying Lilia up a mountain in the rain while battling back armored troops trying to kill him.
When it is revealed that Lilia left the royal guard after failing to save Maleanor (“Maleanor… Raverne… Is this where you are? Take me with you…please…let me join you on the other side…”) Silver says that he had never known the circumstances under which Lilia resigned, as Lilia had told him that he never went to the royal capital because it “just wasn’t his kind of place.”
Silver says that he had assumed that Lilia liked living quietly, surrounded by nature.
When Malleus appears in Lilia’s dream Silver declares that they will be crushing his blessing, which successfully awakens Lilia. Lilia sends Silver and the group away to distract Malleus on his own despite Silver’s insistence that they run away together, asking them to take care of the real-world Malleus on his behalf.
Silver promises to wake Lilia and everyone from their Malleus-imposed sleep, telling Lilia that they have a lot to discuss.
