Silver may not have inherited Lilia’s joy of traveling: he says he finds it hard to relax in the unfamiliar land that is the Queendom of Roses, and he usually only leaves Sage’s Island to go back to Briar Valley.
Silver says that electronics are all new to him, much like they are to Malleus and Sebek, and Ortho says that “most people from Briar Valley are tech-challenged.”
When asked what dorm he would like to transfer to Silver initially says Ignihyde, as they could help him with “machines and the like,” but when Rook comments on how Ignihyde’s students would cower and flee if asked to exert themselves Silver changes his answer to Savanaclaw, instead.
During a birthday interview Silver tells Idia about a time that Ruggie went to him for help, taking him to a restaurant where the owner was arm wrestling patrons for a chance to eat for free.
Silver says that he struggled, but he was able to eke out a victory thanks to the encouragement he received from “Ruggie’s burly friends” and everyone else in the restaurant.
Silver explains, “Mobbed by townsfolk, gathered around a lively dinner table with friends my own age…It was something I could’ve never experienced back home. That day will stay with me for a long time indeed.”
Silver says he has never attended school outside of NRC (and neither has Lilia).
Silver explains that Lilia would take “extended trips” for weeks at a time when he was a child, leaving him alone to look after the cabin, fish in the lake, till the fields, tend to the crops, gather strawberries and play with his animal friends alone.
