Silver can be very optimistic: when Epel expresses disappointment in how peaceful Deuce’s hometown is (“I was sorta hoping someone would pick a fight with us so I could send them packing”)
Silver says, “You’d hoped for a chance to protect your friends. Your sense of justice is inspiring, Epel.” Ortho, however, observes, “I’m not sure protecting us was the first thing on Epel Felmier’s mind…”
When Sebek warns Silver to not stain his clothing as a self-respecting disciple of Lilia’s Silver explains, “That’s his way of encouraging me.”
Silver refuses to name a favorite flower, saying that “Each flower has its own charm.”
When Ruggie discovers a hat filled with coins on the ground in Fleur City he volunteers to pick it up, smiling as Idia says, “Somehow I doubt it’d make it back to its owner.”
Rollo is not amused by the insinuation that Ruggie was looking to steal and Silver assures him otherwise, insisting that Ruggie was going to return the hat to its owner.
Rollo explains the city watch that was formed to protect locals from “ill-mannered outsiders” and Silver agrees that it is a wonderful thing, saying, “When someone does something wrong, it’s important to give them a chance to reflect on their mistakes.”
When Rollo attacks the city with magic-draining firelotuses the visiting NRC group expresses frustration with how helpless they have become and only Silver asks, “Why is Rollo so angry with mages? Or maybe I should ask what happened to make him feel this way?” (Sebek: “How should we know? And why should we care?!”)
Malleus declares that he will not be satisfied until he can strike Rollo down and Sebek agrees, saying that they cannot leave until he grovels and begs for Malleus’ forgiveness. Silver follows with, “Agreed. We need to teach Rollo that what he’s doing isn’t right.”
When Malleus’ punishment for Rollo is revealed he explains his motivation is to make Rollo “spend the rest of (his) days racked with the fires of remorse” no matter what choice he makes and Silver follows with, “You’ve turned this into a matter of conscience for Rollo. What a brilliant decision.”
In a voice line Silver explains that he helped a lost child reunite with their parent during the festival, who thanked him profusely, but “anyone would’ve done the same, really…”
The NRC students manning the churros stall during Port Fest hold a competition to see which of the three flavors would sell out first that is compromised when Leona tells the group to start selling them in packs that include all three.
All three flavors then sell out simultaneously (Leona: “That stupid competition didn’t even matter. It was way more important for us to sell out and close up shop”).
Kalim says that that meant all three groups were able to win first place and Silver observes, “That must have been Leona’s plan from the start.” (Ace: “I’m pretty sure it wasn’t.”)
After stealing mirror fragments from ghosts during Spectral Soiree (“Silver: Jamil… It’s wrong to take other people’s things”) Jamil says that they are not REALLY stealing, but borrowing, and reminds Silver that he is trying to save Malleus.
Silver responds, “Maybe the lesson there is that sometimes we have to make hard decisions for the greater good. Is that what you’re trying to tell me, Jamil?”
After the conclusion of the event Rook summarizes the situation and observes how they had been quick to use brute force. Silver says, “It just goes to show, violence is never the answer. Wait! Was that what you two were trying to teach us all along?”
(Jamil: “How can you be so charitable? There’s no way that’s true!”)
