Twisted Wonderland Event Summary: Eternity Float

Jade and Floyd are to visit the Sunshine Lands, but Floyd decides he doesn’t want to go. Jade invites Grim, Riddle, Malleus, Rook and the prefect.

Jade explains that the group will be assisting with a customary ceremony to be held before the wedding of an acquaintance of his mother’s, where they are to put the bride-and-groom-to-be through various trials as they sail a rowboat around a cove.

These trials can include throwing objects at the couple’s boat, splashing it with water and jabbing at it with oars, with the ultimate goal of flipping the boat over, though a pre-wedding-ceremony rowboat has not been successfully flipped over for the past several decades.

They arrive in the Sunshine Lands and are provided wedding-appropriate attire by Jade’s mother.

Everyone catches a crap to eat at the hotel restaurant that evening, and then they take two, four-wheeled, horse-drawn carriages sightseeing around the area.

The group has lunch, puts on a public puppet show, shops for souvenirs, and dances together under a tent.

Afterwards Rook takes a boat out alone to view the course that they will be following the next day, while Jade puts Malleus and Riddle through various questionable trials as a part of their rowboat training.

They have dinner at the hotel restaurant and shop for more souvenirs the following day.

Each member of the group, minus Grim and the Prefect, take separate rowboats out into the cove to put the married-couple-to-be through trials such as shooting water guns at them.

Malleus summons a giant column of water while Rook creates fog through fire magic and water. This results in both Riddle and Malleus striking against Rook’s boat, which flips over.

Riddle sends barrels out to interrupt the couple progress and Jade propels Riddle’s boat forward with wind magic, which Riddle counters. Riddle and Jade exchange attack magic back and forth with one another until a large wave flips overs Riddle’s boat.

Malleus summons a tornado funnel with magic, making giant waves on the water that flip over his own boat.

The last of the group, Jade turns into his eel form and successfully flips over the boat of the couple-to-be.

The couple is delighted by their boat having been successfully capsized.
