The magestone that supplies power to the fire, water and wind fairies who regulate the temperature in buildings at NRC is stolen by visiting faeries from Faeland for a tiara for their queen to wear at the Fairy Gala, which is to be held at NRC’s botanical garden.
Interrupting the gala could result in eternal winter (and the students getting held back), so a strategy is made to exchange the real tiara for an imitation. Leona and Kalim are selected for the task, and they ask to include Jamil and Ruggie.
It is to be Ruggie’s job to exchange the real tiara with a fake, while the other three distract the crowds and the queen.
Crewel designs and crafts outfits for the group, while Vil instructs them in how to perform a catwalk.
The group struggles to come up with a suitable pose for Leona to perform and Leona decides to leave, retiring to his room. Vil is inspired by the sight of Leona pulling his blanket over himself in bed.
Vil is unimpressed by Kalim and Jamil’s dancing, resulting in Jamil going to Idia for help.
On the day of the gala Leona performs Vil’s pose while Jamil impresses Vil with how his dancing has improved.
Ruggie successfully exchanges the queen’s tiara with a fake while the three performers distract the venue, but he is caught in the botanical garden’s sprinkler system when trying to leave.
The water washes away the fairy dust that had been disguising his human scent and he is nearly caught by fairies, but Leona goes to his aid, distracting the guards while Ruggie escapes.
The group successfully escapes the venue without the faeries noticing, earning Vil’s approval.
