Takeuchi Ryouta has explained in interviews that he first became interested in the entertainment industry as a child, because he dreamed of finding his estranged father by getting his name in the closing credits of a movie. ( Interview Source )
In the same interview he says that he decided to pursue voice acting specifically after a high school friend invited him to join a school play, but he was on the brink of giving up on the industry when he won the role of ‘Lucifer’ in 2013’s Playstation 3/Xbox 360 release ‘El Shaddai’.
