Vil, Riddle, Deuce

Vil and Riddle share a dance during Halloween, during which we learn that, soon after Riddle took over the Housewarden position at Heartslabyul, Vil gave him a bandage to help with his blistered feet as Riddle had yet to grow accustomed to walking in heels.

Vill says, “That boy is a disaster waiting to happen”, possibly insinuating that he may have suspected some of the issues that would ultimately drive Riddle to overblot.

The two housewardens bond over a conversation about feeling more energized through good posture, looking stronger and more attractive and attracting attention with every step they take.

Vil has at least one pair of shoes with thirteen-centimeter heels.

Riddle says that he is proud of the fact that Vil said the broom he received for his third birthday suits him.

Vil is Riddle’s third birthday interviewer, saying that, when Riddle starts living alone, he imagines that cooking will be the least of Riddle’s worries.

Vil says he is “exceedingly curious” about how Riddle will going about decorating and Riddle says that he will ask for Vil’s advice if he ever finds himself shopping for furniture.

Vil scolds Deuce during Book 5 for “the infantile notion that hard work guarantees a reward,” following up with how Deuce is slowing the rest of the group down with his poor performance: “Don’t talk like a full-fledged ensemble member when you’re still dead weight.”

Deuce apologizes.

Vil’s overblot battle concludes with Deuce taking Vil on alone, beating him with the same power that Vil hammered into him.

(There is a common misconception that Deuce’s UM doubles the strength of the damage that he takes, but this is not true. More here ->)

Vil compliments Deuce on the final blow that took him down.

Deuce volunteers to pick up an order from the school store on Vil’s behalf for his birthday, earning him an invitation to Vil’s birthday party.
