In August 2026, the official Twisted Wonderland Twitter account published the following comments from Ishiya on the character song/dorm song soundtrack and karaoke box implementation(source):
>> Memories from Recording
I have the impression that all of Twisted Wonderland‘s songs are quite challenging, so I spend the entire recording session experimenting and refining my performance for each one.
The staff pay close attention to every little detail, so each time I really get to experience firsthand just how difficult, nuanced, and enjoyable these songs are to sing. The English parts were especially difficult.>> What should fans pay attention to in the songs you participated in?
Since I’m singing as Sebek Zigvolt’s voice actor, I first focus on singing boldly and making sure I’m firmly in sync with the music.
I also think carefully about which parts Sebek would express most powerfully. There’s meaning behind those choices, so I’d be happy if listeners also paid close attention to the lyrics of each song.>> Which song would you like to sing at karaoke?
The dorm song. I really love its atmosphere, so I think it’d be wonderful if several people could sing it together. I’d want to decide who gets to sing the chorus with a game of rock-paper-scissors. I’d love to really get into character while singing it.>> A message for the fans, please.
I’m Ishiya Haruki, the voice of Sebek Zigvolt. This collection includes so many of the songs you’ve all been hoping to hear.
Every one of them is challenging to perform, but at the same time they’re full of entertainment value, and I think the incredible attention to detail will become more and more apparent the more you listen. I hope you’ll listen to them again and again and discover those details for yourselves.
