A comparison of the official English translation of volume 5 of the Twisted Wonderland manga vs. the original manga (vs. the original game vs. EN server)
Original Game/Manga Cafeteria Ghost: Deluxe Minced Meat Cutlet Sandwich
EN Game/Manga Cafeteria Ghost: Deluxe ham and cheese
Original Game/Manga Ruggie: Mini red bean bun
EN Manga Ruggie: Mini red bean bun
EN Game Ruggie: Hot dog bun
Original Game/Manga Ruggie: Also, that tanuki and the other first-years just now, I feel like I’ve seen them before somewhere……?
EN Game Ruggie: Anyway, that weasel at the cafeteria and his freshman friends…where have I seen them before?
EN Manga Ruggie: Come to think of it, those first-years and the weasel, I think i’ve seen them before…?
(This might be confusing for manga-only fans, as this is the first time that anyone has referred to Grim as a “weasel” in the EN manga: in the EN Heartslabyul arc he was referred to as a tanuki, accurate to the original manga/game, (More here ->) possibly because the “tanuki” joke was accompanied by an illustration of Grim as a tanuki. As this panel in the manga did not have a tanuki illustration, they were free to change to “weasel”.)
Crowley refers to the original-game Prefect as “Prefect-kun” and to every reincarnation of the prefect in the manga (and there have been four prefects as of this post) as the same name, “Yuu-kun,” never differentiating between them.
This is also true of Hirasaka Yuuka, the prefect of the Savanaclaw arc, who is also called “Yu” in all English-language panels in all EN manga except one, where Crowley refers to her as “Ms. Hirasaka” just once in the EN manga.
Original Game/Manga Riddle: I also agree with Vil-senpai’s opinion.
EN Game/Manga Riddle: I am in complete agreement with Housewarden Vil.
(No housewarden has ever referred to another with the “Housewarden” title in the original game.)
(This is also true of non-housewarden characters: no one in the original game ever refers to anyone but the housewarden of their own dorm with the “Housewarden” title. This rule is different on EN, where Jack once refers to Vil as “Housewarden.”)
Original Game/Manga Leona: He sounds just like my brother.
EN Manga Leona: He talks like my stupid brother.
EN Game Leona: Talkin’ like he’s better than me.
