At the start of the Harveston event Sebek declares that failure to win the sled race is not an option, as Malleus and Lilia told him to do his best.
He purchases cushions for them both as souvenirs, and has a voice line about using his salary from working at the school store to buy high-quality ice cream and tomato juice. While he does not specify whom he will be gifting them to, those are Malleus and Lilia’s favorite foods.
Sebek’s dream in Book 7 is a day of celebration, not for himself, but for Malleus’ and Lilia’s off-campus internships. He explains that while it is a shame he will not be seeing them much at school in the next year, he has no doubt that they will “return with greater achievements than any other intern at their respective organizations.”
When Crowley explains how Noble Bell College flattered him by saying only a headmage of his caliber could have nurtured Malleus Draconia Sebek responds, “You weren’t the one to nurture Malleus! He’s standing right here —“ in reference to Lilia, and after Crowley allows Grim and the prefect to attend Sebek demands that he allow Lilia to join as well.
Sebek says that he took the part-time job at the school store at Lilia’s behest, despite having his doubts, because, “what I AM certain of is that Lilia must have given this serious thought before suggesting I do it!”
During Port Fest Malleus mentions a time during his childhood when Lilia presented him with cotton candy that was larger than he himself was at the time. Floyd decides to try to make one like it, enraging Sebek.
Floyd tells him to relax as he it won’t be going to waste and Sebek reveals that that isn’t his concern: “You have no business attempting to contend with Lilia! You are but a pale beam in contrast to his brilliant radiance!” (Jack: “THAT’s not the issue either!”)
