Deuce’s favorite food is listed as “anything with eggs.” When asked what his favorite food is in the main story he responds, “If I had to pick, I guess I’d say…omelet rice?”
He says that he enjoys eating eggs and they are also fun to cook with, and he says that “a nice, eggy chiffon cake” is superior to cherry pie for being “easy on the palate and not overwhelmingly sweet.”
Rather than Deuce liking eggs because they are what his mother would always cook for him, it seems that she was always cooking them because they were already his favorite: Deuce says that she would make him “omelet rice, poached eggs, baked eggs…” and “always cook egg dishes for (his) birthday.”
Deuce says that he loves anything with eggs: “Omelets and quiche always cheer me up!”
