In Book 7 Kalim describes Jamil’s favorite foods as being curry, dates and silky melons, but Jamil has not been able to eat dates since he was a child.
Jamil favorite food is listed as “curry” in his profile, and he has several voice lines about it (“I can smell the spices in Deuce’s curry from here….now I’m getting hungry.”)
Kalim explains that there is a rule in his household that forbids serving curry at banquets after Jamil, Kalm’s poison tester, ate curry from Kalim’s plate and was left “bedridden for days on end.” Kalim explains that the “No curry” rule is only for himself as Jamil “wasn’t really bothered by it, though, and he still loves curry to this day!”
On the subject of sauce options for shawarma Jamil says he is “partial to hummus,” and he has a Glorious Masquerade voiceline of, “The roast beef they served at the social was infused with spices and evenly heated. I should give my compliments to the chef.”
During Tapis Rouge Jamil has a caramel apple that he seems to enjoy and he orders flounder pole at a restaurant, saying, “The sauce has a lot of herbs in it. Herbs are a big part of Scalding Sands cuisine as well, so I wanted to taste the difference.”
When presented the opportunity to eat fruit during the Little-Big Adventure event, Jamil chooses to have a mango.
